Frequently Asked Questions
What is UR Institute?
If the name “Unabashedly Resolute” sounds weird you will be happy to know it was chosen on purpose for it’s uniqueness and specificity. Unabashedly means “without shame or embarrassment,” and Resolute means “to be resolved or firm in an opinion, belief, or position.” Our aim is to help people to become unashamed of their beliefs, because they have wrestled them out under rigorous and tried means, and they will have developed the ability to defend their belief systems using logic and reason.
Are you a 501(c)3 or Not-for-Profit?
No, we are not a Not-for-profit company or a 501(c)3, We are an educational organization, or knowledge brokerage and research institute. What we are offering came at great financial and personal expense to our trainers and researchers. We have studied at great Universities around the country and around the world. We have continued our quest for truth through self-education at the feet of Jung, Frankl, Solzhenitsyn, CS Lewis, Tolkien, Aristotle, Plato, etc.. And what could not be gleaned there we learned by being perpetually enrolled in the school of hard-knocks. So what ever funds come into the company pay for normal business expenditures and our staff.

What Credentials does your Staff have?
Is this just for Christians?
No, while our staff is majority Christian the tools are pre-Christian in a manner of speaking. Think of it as a primer for thinking. What we offer is necessary in order to begin to think. It’s Pre-Apologetics, it is Pre-Philosophy, it is the fundamentals of reason. How you choose to use the tools you learn is completely up to you. We are not trying to steer you in any theological or philosophical direction. Truth is true no matter where it is found, or who finds it.
